“Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition”

For a limited time, experience the tragedy that befell the world’s most storied ship like never before. “Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition” is now open at OdySea in the Desert and features artifacts recovered from the ocean floor, a reconstruction of the ship’s interior and personal stories of passengers. Tickets cost about $20 online.

HUB at the IDEA Museum

Encourage your kids to let their imaginations run wild at HUB, an interactive space at the IDEA Museum. The exhibit provides all the tools necessary to create artwork, build, design, make music and so much more. Admission to the museum costs $9 per person.

Named one of the best exhibits of the summer by USA Today, “Mummies of the World” at Arizona Science Center offers an unparalleled opportunity to look into the lives of our ancient ancestors from Europe, South America and Egypt. The exhibit closes Sept. 2, so buy tickets while you still can.

Set out on a sunset expedition that gives you a glimpse into the tall tales and mysteries of the desert. The Nocturnal Myths and Legends Tour at the South Mountain Environmental Education Center offers a fun and informative guided walk for the entire family. Every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Butterfly Wonderland, kiddos have the opportunity to bring a critter home with them in the form of face paint. Colorful painted butterflies, snakes and more are included with the price of admission.

Sea Trek at OdySea

You don’t have to leave the desert for an immersive, under-the-sea experience. For a limited time, Sea Trek helmet diving at OdySea Aquarium is being offered at a 40 percent discount.
