The LEGO Movie Days at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Arizona
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Arizona is celebrating the long-awaited The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part with movie-themed event days from Feb. 8 to March 31. The ultimate indoor LEGO playground features 10 LEGO build and play zones, a 4D cinema, rides and special movie-themed fun all geared for families with children ages 3 to 10. The LEGO Movie Days will host character meet and greets, a themed scavenger hunt and much more fun.
Friday Night Family Yoga at Kaleidoscope Dance in Mesa
Every Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m., Nicole Anne Yoga invites parents, grandparents and their children and grandchildren, ages 3 to 12, to enjoy a relaxing, calming Yoga Nidra class together at Kaleidoscope Dance studio in Mesa. The focus of the class is on releasing energy, calming the mind and body, and ending with a peaceful meditation. Families are asked to bring their own yoga mats, blankets and pillows; stuffed animals for the kids are also welcome. Cost is $10 per child and free for parents and grandparents.
Bodies Revealed
The overwhelmingly popular Bodies Revealed exhibit is open for a limited time at OdySea in the Desert and explores the human body in an intimate and informative way. The 12,000-sq.-ft. exhibition will remain on display until March 2019. Bodies Revealed gives an in-depth view of the complex and intricate network of internal organs and systems in a very up-close and personal way, with more than 200 whole and partial preserved human body specimens. There are nine self-guided galleries, each one providing a detailed look into a specific part of the body, its functions and its importance to the rest of the body.

Street Eats Food Truck Festival
The Street Eats Food Truck Festival rides into Salt River Fields in Scottsdale Feb. 16 and Feb. 17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. About 50 food trucks are slated to appear at this year’s event; plus, this family-friendly fest will feature live music from local bands, an array of food-eating contests, a local vendor market, and a massive kid’s zone, among other can’t-miss attractions. Tickets are on sale now for $12 ($15 at the gate). All food trucks will be serving up $2 samples so you can graze the day away.
Phoenix’s Open Air Market
Help the Phoenix Public Market celebrate the 14th year of the Open Air Market on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Downtown Phoenix. The celebration will feature live music, a special anniversary raffle, giveaways, a wide selection of local and seasonal produce, yoga, cooking demos and, for the kids, face painting, crafts, and a scavenger hunt.
Sweets Festival
If Candyland was your favorite childhood game, you’ll want to check this out. Sweets Festival is set for 1 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 16 at Gilbert's Civic Center Park. The event will give sweets fans of all ages a five-hour window in which to consume massive amounts of cookies, cakes, candies, donuts and other sweet treats. Over-21 attendees can sip on sweet cocktail concoctions throughout the festivities while multiple kid’s zones, a sweet treat scavenger hunt, a s'mores-making station and crafts for the little ones add icing on the cake. There will also be live music, cookie- and cupcake-decorating, a pie-eating contest and more.

Arizona Renaissance Festival
Get ready to be transported back to the 16th century as one of the largest and most picturesque renaissance festivals is now in town. The Arizona Renaissance Festival runs every Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 9, through March 31, including Presidents’ Day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Roam the 30-acre festival village filled with whimsical castles, cottages and pubs, take in 14 stages of nonstop performances of music, mermaids, merriment, dance, acrobatics and comedy and cheer on knights during the jousting tournaments. Huzzah!
President’s Day Weekend at Jake’s Unlimited
To celebrate President’s Day weekend, from Saturday, Feb. 16, to Monday, Feb. 18, Jake’s Unlimited guests can purchase the Pro Pass admission for a discounted $30 rate (regularly priced at $45.50) when they show the promotional email, social post or Web page. Fun Fair with the Birdman
OdySea in the Desert is hosting a Fun Fair featuring the Birdman for President’s Day weekend (Feb. 16 to Feb. 18). The Birdman—Joe Krathwohl—is bringing his highly visual, stunning and educational show as part of a larger fair that includes unlimited carnival rides, games, inflatable fun, skeeball, and more of your favorite carnival games. The Birdman shows will take place daily at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. that weekend. Tickets to unlimited access to all Fun Fair activities are $5 in advance and $7 day of event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Jurassic Fight Night
Jurassic Fight Night will be filled with non-stop entertainment including three rounds of intense Dino fights that will be judged by a panel of celebrity UFC fighters. In addition to the fights, there will be live music, dance groups, photo ops with the dinos and more. It’s all going down at Gila River Arena on Feb. 17 at 3:30 p.m.
