Wondering what you should be doing when it comes to your wedding stationery?  Here is a quick guide to help you.

Save-the-dates: Send out at least six months prior to your wedding date.  If you have a wedding website, be sure to include that on the save-the-date.

Invitations: We recommend that you send out your wedding invitations two months before your wedding date.  We suggest the couples include an RSVP date that is a month prior to the wedding so that you have time to follow-up with guests that have not responded and to give time to have the escort and place cards designed.  Please remember that if you have plated meals options for your guests, you will need to include the food choices on the invite.

Programs: Wedding ceremony programs come in all shapes and sizes.  Usually the bridal party and the wedding ceremony order are included.  Some couples include more (such as Mass readings and songs or descriptions of each wedding attendant) or less based on their style and the formality of their wedding.

Menus: If you are doing a food buffet or stations, you might not have menus.  If you are doing a formal sit down dinner, menus are suggested.

Escort Cards: These cards, not to be confused with place cards, are used to instruct guests on what table to sit at.
