Vera Wang’s Preppy Princess Eau de Toilette is the fourth Vera fragrance to follow the 2006 release of Very Wang Princess (after Flower Princess, Rock Princess and Glam Princess). Vera Wang Preppy Princess combines a luscious, woody, fruity scent with red berries, honeysuckle and sensual woods. The edgy style of the heart-shaped bottle with white and blue graphics topped by a blue crown with pearls reflects the eclectic fragrance inside.
The new fresh floral musk scent of Kenzo is L’Eau de Kenzo Amour. Developed by perfumer Olivier Cresp, the fragrance is a unique blend of bitter orange, bergamot, tea ylang ylang, peony, frangipani, vanilla and white musk. The bottle features the house’s emblematic slender, curved bottle. It is transparent with a shade of fuchsia at the central point of the bottle. The limited edition fragrance was released in January.
Cartier’s new fragrance for women, Cartier de Lune, creates the graceful sensation a bouquet of flowers freshly picked in the moonlight. Luminous top notes of pink pepper and juniper berries with white flowers wild rose, cyclamen, bindweed and lily of the valley, are alongside base notes of musk and wood. The bottle retains the recognized shape of the Maison Cartier Parfums, but is unique to the fragrance with a glass body tinged a moonlight blue, a silvered metallic cap engraved with a moon crescent and pearls. Perfumer Mathilde Laurent designed the fragrance.
With the iconic Angel fragrance as its predecessor, Womanity by Thierry Mugler is an interplay of the sweet and savory. “To me, femininity evokes the notion of totality, of completeness; savory and sweet all at once,” Mugler has said. The new fragrance highlights citrus and fig notes based by caviar and woods. Enclosed in a pink bottle, the Gothic-inspired top is symbolic of a cross-generational bond of women.
Brown Sugar Eau de Parfum by Fresh features an effervescent citrus scent inspired by the brand’s all-natural Brown Sugar Body Polish. Top notes of sparkling Sicilian lemon, tangerine and acai are interlaced with sugared magnolia, sheer honeysuckle and peach nectar, based with caramel warm amber and cypress.
The radiant energy of the modern woman is captured in Estee Lauder’s new Wild Elixir Eau de Toilette. The fuchsia bottle contains genet flower, mandarin and smooth woods that are blended to create an expressive floral texture. The limited edition fragrance was released in January.
Escada’s Taj Sunset embraces a summer in the tropics. The limited edition, India-themed 2011 fragrance features a blend of Alphonso mango, nectarine, blood orange, watery floral accord, raspberry, pomarose, coconut cream sandalwood and musk.
Due out in March, Calvin Klein’s Eternity Summer for women is a mix of muguet, violet, cilantro, gardenia, jasmine, lotus, musk, mimosa and fig good. A men’s version of the fragrance is also available.
