AFM: In a brief 2-3 sentences, please tell us a little bit about you:<\/strong>
\nAbel Gallegos (AG):<\/strong> I’m someone who is still discovering their true self and their true potential. I choose using clothing\/the art of making it to show the journey I\u2019m going on.<\/p>\n

AFM: What does it mean to you to be a Best of Our Valley winner?<\/strong>
\nAG:<\/strong> To me it means that people believe in my work, that they see something in it that resonates with them.<\/p>\n

AFM: In your opinion, what is the best part about being the winner for Best Tucson-Based Fashion Designer?\u00a0<\/strong>
\nAG:<\/strong> The best part is just being recognized period, I was surprised I was even nominated. That was mind blowing enough honestly, I\u2019m still in shock that I even won. Now I just want to live up to that title and push myself to produce more quality work.<\/p>\n

AFM: How do you put your \u201cbest\u201d foot forward every day?<\/strong>
\nAG:<\/strong> Taking a step back, deep breath, and telling myself \u201cyou got this, you\u2019re more capable than you know.\u201d<\/p>\n
