The\u00a0Best of<\/em>\u00a0spotlight is on Scottsdale Culinary Festival<\/a>, who claimed Best Annual Valley Event: Large Scale. Congrats, Scottsdale Culinary Festival (SCF)!<\/p>\n

AFM: In a brief 2-3 sentences, please tell us a little bit about Scottsdale Culinary Festival!\u00a0<\/strong>
\nSCF:<\/strong> The Scottsdale Culinary Festival is a two-day celebratory fundraiser, bringing together dozens of restaurants, local bands, breweries, premium drinks, and headline acts to raise money for deserving local arts programs that make a positive impact in the community. The Festival is the largest in a series of multiple culinary events held throughout the year by the Scottsdale League for the Arts, a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated providing support to the arts.<\/p>\n

AFM: What does it mean to you to be a Best of Our Valley winner?
\nSCF:<\/strong> It brings us pride to know that the community voted to award us this title! We work long hours hoping that our guests will have a great time at our events, and knowing that the response is positive brings us a great sense of accomplishment.<\/p>\n

AFM: What\u2019s your favorite part about being the Best of Our Valley’s\u00a0Best\u00a0Annual Valley Event: Large Scale?<\/strong>
\nSCF:<\/strong> At the Scottsdale Culinary Festival, we celebrate local life and the restaurants that make up the city\u2019s booming culinary scene, and knowing that we are the best at doing so is our favorite part!<\/p>\n

AFM: What advice would you give to others to be the \u201cbest\u201d in your field?\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
\nSCF:<\/strong> It\u2019s all about the guest experience! Offering a high quality, comfortable event experience is always the most important thing in our planning process.<\/p>\n

AFM: Have you seen any benefits as a result of being a BOOV winner?<\/strong>
\nSCF:<\/strong> We feel this award has brought us more local recognition, and inspires trust in first-time attendees.<\/p>\n

AFM: How does your team put their \u201cbest\u201d foot forward every day?<\/strong>
\nSCF:<\/strong> We always keep our goals present; the reason why we put on these events is to create a positive impact in the community, and remembering this helps us move forward with lots of ambition. When we\u2019re in the planning process, we always can\u2019t wait to see our guests having fun while they help us raise money for a good cause.<\/p>\n
