Congrats, Emily and Rick!<\/p>\n<p><strong>AFM: Please tell us a little bit about you!<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Emily&#8217;s Events (EE):\u00a0<\/strong>Husband and wife team behind our successful catering and event planning company for the past 11 years. Emily from Chicago and Rick from New York. We met in Scottsdale in 2003.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AFM: What does it mean to you to be a Best of Our Valley winner?<\/strong><br \/>\n<span class=\"im\"><b>EE:\u00a0<\/b><\/span>It\u2019s an Honor and very humbling to be recognized by the people we serve. It makes it all worthwhile.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>AFM:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>What\u2019s your favorite part about being the Best of Our Valley\u2019s Most Influential in Valley Food?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>EE: <\/strong>It gives us validation and gives our clients the confidence that they are selecting a qualified person to guide them through one of the most important times in their life.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>AFM: What advice would you give to others to be the \u201cbest\u201d in your field? \u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>EE:\u00a0<\/strong>Pay attention to your clients. LISTEN to them and be honest.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>AFM: Have you seen any benefits as a result of being a BOOV winner?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>EE:\u00a0<\/strong>Absolutely! Business is booming.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>AFM: How do you put your \u201cbest\u201d foot forward every day?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>EE:\u00a0<\/strong>I try to remember why I started this in the first place. I guess for me it\u2019s about aligning my mental attitude. I remember that I chose to do this and that I love what I do.
