Fittest Female & Best Trainer: Nikki Metzger, Owner, BODI; Nike Master Trainer; Women’s Health Magazine\u2019s Next Fitness Star. <\/strong>Also a 2015 Winner!<\/em><\/p>\n

Tell me about your day-to- day.<\/strong> Owning a gym, there is never a time I’m not working. My\u00a0typical week, I wake up at 5 a.m. every day, teach two classes in the morning and two in the\u00a0evening. In between, I’m working on administrative stuff, planning workouts and typically\u00a0working on other projects with Women’s Health Magazine and Nike.<\/p>\n

Why is physical fitness so important to you?<\/strong> I live and breathe fitness being a trainer and\u00a0owning my own gym. But for me it’s more than just a perfect body. It\u2019s a lifestyle. It’s about how\u00a0it makes me feel and how much more energized, productive and positive I feel when I’m working\u00a0out and taking care of my body.<\/p>\n

Biggest professional accomplishment?<\/strong> Opening BODI and it becoming a super-successful gym\u00a0in Scottsdale. Winning Women’s Health Magazine\u2019s Next Fitness Star, which included me\u00a0starring in and creating my own DVD, appearing on the cover of their magazine in summer 2015\u00a0and an eight-page spread in 2016.<\/p>\n

Scenic spot:<\/strong> Sunrise Peak Trail starting at Lost Dog. Peaceful scenic hike and never busy.<\/p>\n
