Best Male PR Rep:\u00a0<\/strong>John Glynn, Senior Account Manager, The James Agency<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also a 2015 Winner!<\/em><\/p>\n

Tell me about your day-to- day.<\/strong> Like everyone else, my days are really busy. But, they consist\u00a0of working with the agency\u2019s clients to help them achieve their goals. So, I may be emailing with\u00a0magazine or newspaper editors, at a TV studio or writing a press release. No two days are the\u00a0same. One constant is that I get to work every day with a group of some of the most competent\u00a0people in the industry, at an agency I love. I never, ever dread going to work.<\/p>\n

What makes a good PR person?<\/strong> Three things: knowing how to make friends, knowing what\u00a0makes a good story and how your clients play a part in that story and, most importantly, having a\u00a0motor. People who aren\u2019t vigilant for their clients will not succeed in this business.<\/p>\n

Biggest professional accomplishment?<\/strong> Achievements are all so situational. One campaign that\u00a0I worked on that I\u2019m proud of was Pei Wei\u2019s Hunger Action Month campaign last year. They got\u00a0a ton of media exposure and helped feed needy Arizona families.<\/p>\n

Fast Faves<\/strong><\/p>\n

Valley restaurant:<\/strong> Don & Charlie\u2019s. It\u2019s where my wife and I got engaged.<\/p>\n

Annual local event:<\/strong> Spring training and the Waste Management Phoenix Open.<\/p>\n

Spot to spend a Sunday morning:<\/strong> On my couch watching cartoons with my son, Trip.<\/p>\n
