No cuts. No color. Just blowouts” is all Drybar does, and they do it fabulously. Scottsdale residents fell in love with this blow-dry bar at the Scottsdale Quarter location so much so that a new location has blown into town. The second Arizona location, at 32nd Street and Camelback Road in Phoenix, opened its doors to freshen up some floppy 'dos on Oct. 26.

Drybar is anything but dry—other than the fantastic blowouts, that is. The décor is simplistically sleek. The walls are painted a crisp white with splashes of yellow and gray accents throughout the space. Guests are greeted by smiley faces that aim to make their experience memorable as soon as they walk in the doors. From there, you take a peek at Drybar's hair menu and are offered a complimentary drink, including wine or Champagne.

Whether you are looking for sexy, voluminous hair for a night out with the girls or straight and simple for the day, Drybar has a variety styles for every occasion:

Straight Up is Drybar's signature blowout. Straight with a little bit of body.

Manhattan is sleek and smooth.

The Cosmo is lots--and lots—of loose curls.

The Mai Tai is the messy, beach babe look.

Cosmo-Tai is a 'lil Cosmo, a 'lil Mai-Tai.

Southern Comfort is big hair, lots of volume. Go big or go home!

Up-Tini (a k a an updo).

My afternoon spent at Drybar felt like a scene straight from “Sex and the City.” For only $35, I sipped on a delicious mimosa and got my hair washed and styled by the Valley's very best. Drybar's philosophy may be simple, but their execution is anything but. My fantastic stylists, Brandon Pastore and Jenn Chavez, transformed my everyday ‘do into a runway look. Spend a day pampering yourself at Drybar. You will leave feeling like you have fabulous curls like Carrie Bradshaw. I know I did!
