As part of its Characters Unite public service campaign and its Characters Unite Month, USA Network launched a nationwide bus tour that will be making a stop at the ASU campus from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow, Feb. 21. The campaign, which happens to be supported by actors, musicians and more well-known names, is designed to help spread the message that everyone can help stop hate and all forms of discrimination simply by saying “I won’t stand for…” it anymore. The tour will be stopping at nationwide campuses.
Participants will be able to create a free “I won’t stand for…” T-shirt. They can also take a photo to be part of the Characters Unite gallery and immediately share the image via social media. Be sure to keep an eye out for Carrie Severson of Severson Sisters, who was a USA Network Characters Unite award winner in 2013, as well as one of Arizona Foothills Magazine's 2014 Women Who Move the Valley.
