On Oct. 15, DMB Associates will break ground on a new active adult community at Verrado near the White Tank Mountains. DMB has spent three years consulting with multiple Baby Boomer lifestyle experts, including doctors, fitness experts, educators, nonprofits and Boomers, to inform decisions on land planning, amenities, activities and lifestyle. 

This will be the first active adult community of its kind in Arizona. The concept is to offer homes built by multiple homebuilders--approximately 3,500 of them in an array of home styles and sizes at build out. The site of Tuesday groundbreaking, which offers 180 degree views of the region and the mountain canyons, will be the future site of the active adult district’s community club.
