Through the month of August, the Phoenix Public Market Café in Downtown Phoenix is hosting a “Chef For A Day” contest. The contest will give one lucky diner (plus three friends) an inside look into navigating the farmers' market from a chef’s perspective--plus a free lunch.

Aaron Chamberlin (who, along with Phoenix Public Market, co-owns St. Francis in Phoenix) will spend the afternoon with the winner gathering complimentary produce at the adjacent Phoenix Public Market and sharing insider tips to picking the freshest foods. Next, the group will step into the Phoenix Public Market Café’s kitchen to cook alongside Chamberlin as he demonstrates the best, most healthful techniques for cooking up the foods selected at the farmers' market. Finally, the winner and  guests will savor a four-person, farm-to-table lunch with wine, dessert and more. The prize package also includes four professional Bragard chefs aprons adorned with the Phoenix Public Market Café logo.

To enter, leave a business card in the “Chef For A Day” jar located on the register counter during your next trip to Phoenix Public Market Cafe. The winner will be announced on Sept. 1.
