Whether you are an avid cyclist or prefer a leisurly ride with your family, Trails 4 Trials, the first organized charity ride in the West Valley, invites locals to join together in the journey for a cure. The bike race and family fun ride takes place Sept. 28 will benefit Gateway for Cancer Research, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical trials to aid those living with cancer. Trails 4 Trials will donate 99 cents of every dollar received toward cancer research. With four distances, including a 100-mile, 50-mile, 25-mile and 3-mile family fun ride, cyclists of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend. The course circumnavigates Goodyear’s Estrella Mountains and will culminate with a post-ride celebration, replete with live music, food and beer gardens. www.trails4trials.org.
