EXTRA EXTRA!
This weekend, whether you’re out by the pool or out on the town, take a look up at the sky. This Sunday evening, June 23, expect to see what will be the closest “supermoon” of 2013. According to an article on yahoo.com, this means that a full moon will only be 222,824 miles away from us here on earth! That seems really far, but in terms of astronomy, it’s actually really close. There are only an average of 4-6 “supermoons” a year, so enjoy the view wherever you may be.
