While some dads might be most interested in a little peace and quiet on their recliner with a beer in hand this Father's Day, some dads might want to do a little learnin'. And that's where Arizona Science Center comes in. The Phoenix-based center is offering free admission to all dads and grandpas on Sunday, June 16--Father's Day.
Here are some fun events to check out that day:
All day - Spud Speedsters: Build and race your imaginative spud speedster around our track and beat the best time.
All day – Crush It! Dissect It!: Come take a part or demolish electronics with “Big Red."
11 a.m. – Rainbow Trout: Create your own fish and learn how color changes can help identify two kinds of chemicals called acids and bases.
1 p.m. – Squishy Circuits: Discover the electrifying world of circuits using homemade conductive and resistant putty to build electronic sculptures that light up!
