Best of Our Valley winner for Best Annual Charitable Event, the Gold Ball, has broken a fundraising record. The 44th Annual Gold Ball, which took place March 23,  raised an impressive $650,000 for John C. Lincoln Health Network community and hospital programs. This was a 7.5 percent increase from last year's gala. Funds support the John C. Lincoln Health Network with emphasis on the Breast Health and Research Center, Level I Trauma Center at North Mountain, the Virginia G. Piper Center of Pediatric Excellence at Deer Valley, and Desert Mission.

“Through this generous support, thousands of lives in the community will be impacted through medically innovative programs, advanced technology and Desert Mission programs,”  says Marcia Mintz, CEO of the John C.
