Take me out the ballgame! Tonight marks the start of the 2013 Arizona Diamondbacks season at Chase Field, and to set the season off right former D-back Brandon Webb will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at 7:10 p.m. In addition, Aaron Hill (a Best of Our Valley winner for Favorite Diamondbacks player) will be presented with the Silver Slugger Award on the field during pregame ceremonies.

 

Baseball fans are encouraged to get to the ballpark early as the D-backs Street Festival starts at 3 p.m. (located at the Fourth Street and Jackson intersection). Food trucks, live music, D-backs inflatables, activities and much more fun will be had. The D-backs will hand out 50,000 magnet schedules, courtesy of Pepsi, to fans as they enter Chase Field. Tickets are still available.
