Banner Health to Serve Valley Youth

Mobile Health Unit

Today, Banner Health unveiled its HealthMobile, an ongoing mobile health unit which will travel to schools throughout the Valley each week to provide primary care for thousands of uninsured and underinsured children. Acting like a mobile doctor's office, the Banner Health HealthMobile will provide children--up to 21--with treatment for health problems, physicals for camp or sports, and routine annual check-ups. (A parent must be present.) With this new service, Banner Health hopes to help an additional 2,500 kids each year.

Want your kid to pay a visit to the Banner Health HealthMobile? Here is where you can find it:

Mondays at Buckeye Elementary School, 210 South 6th Street, Buckeye (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Tuesdays at various locations across the Valley, offering asthma-specific outreach, education and treatment; dates and times will be announced weekly at area schools beginning in February

Wednesdays at Maricopa Elementary School, 18150 N. Alterra Parkway, Maricopa

Thursdays at Banner Ironwood Medical Center, 37000 N. Gantzel Road, San Tan Valley
