EXTRA! EXTRA!

With elections happening next Tuesday, it only seems fitting to kick it off with...what else...a political cocktail contest! The Arrogant Butcher will host "Every Sips Counts", which will continue until election day, with a special election night viewing party on November 6 from 4 p.m. to close.

The contest pitches two cocktails against one another in a week-long election process where voters can use their handy ballot to decide the winner. The two tasty libations are Elephant's Never Forget, a refreshing mix of vodka, pomegranate juice, ginger beer and lemon, and Blue State Mule, combining curacao, ginger beer, vodka and lime. Both drinks are $8 and are garnished with crystalized ginger and a mini-American flag.

Time to honor the red, white and blue with these tasty drinks.
