The Fourth-Annual Best Of Our Valley has commenced, and now that we're finished sorting through thousands of nominees, cropping thumbnails, Tweeting into oblivion and enjoying a drink, we can sit back, relax and report the news.

* It's a battle of numbers again for this year's cover, with the person, place or thing receiving the highest number of votes receiving the coveted cover shoot. Will Johnjay Van Es overshadow Brett Michaels in voting this year? Will it be early front-runner Larry Fitzgerald or maybe a Valley powerhouse Twitter user? You never know, it could be a really passionate burger bar who takes the cover.

* If Johnjay does manage to take home a second win, will he be puking during his photo shoot again? Was it nerves back in 2011 that made him sick in between shots?

* Already a hot category jam-packed with viable candidates, Best New Restaurant is looking dramatic. Cast your vote for top new eatery, if nothing else.
