Marriott celebrates its partnership with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community as it opens the first Marriott built on U.S. Tribal Land.  The grand opening and ribbon cutting will incorporate Native American customs with local Scottsdale flavor through traditional food, dance and other cultural expressions on Tuesday, June 5 at Courtyard Scottsdale Salt River.  The hotel is also certified through the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® Volume Program – the first in the hotel leader’s portfolio. www.marriott.com
