Can you imagine living in a home that sustained itself?  That’s right, a home that would have a whopping $0 electric bill.  Well, it’s no futuristic sci-fi fantasy, it’s reality.  

Shea Homes, a developer of Arizona resort communities has announced their new model, the SheaXero, which they call “the no electric bill home.”  Using a mix of energy efficient features and appliances, coupled with sustainable solar power, Shea Homes is the first developer to make this type of home their national standard, not just an expensive option. 

The homes are made possible by a partnership with SolarCity, America’s top integrator for solar energy in homes and businesses.  The homes are offered in California, Florida, Nevada, Washington and of course, Arizona.  Locations in state are at Triology at Vistancia, Trilogy at Encanterra and the Encanterra Country Club.
