Michael Bolton to headline eighth annual Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala
Dreams will be coming true at the annual Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala. This year’s theme is “A Night of American Dreams” and will be full of gourmet food, celebrities and great entertainment by award winning singer and song writer Michael Bolton.
The Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala, co-hosted by Barrett-Jackson and held in conjunction with the world-famous Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event, garners some of the Valley’s most-celebrated personalities and brings in over one million annually for the national charity. Back for a third year as event co-chairs are Missy Anderson, Jinger Richardson and Susie Wesley. The honorary chairs are Laurie and Bill Eckholm and the event advisor is Carol Hebets.
Attendees will be treated to fabulous fare provided by Chef Michael DeMaria of Heirloom restaurant, great live auction packages and excellent entertainment by Michael Bolton, Stealing Angels, William Joseph and Robbie Britt. Emcees for the evening will be Childhelp ambassadors, actor John O’Hurley and media personality Tara Hitchcock.
Kathie Lee Gifford, co-host of The Today Show will be the Childhelp Spirit of the Children award recipient. Singer- songwriter, actress, host and presenter, Gifford has appeared on many television shows and formerly co-hosted Live with Regis and Kathie Lee.
Former prosecutor turned journalist, Nancy Grace will receive this year’s Childhelp Positive Impact in the Media Award. Grace is the host of Nancy Grace on CNN and recently was included in the cast of Dancing With The Stars.
The annual Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala is Childhelp’s largest fundraiser of the year. All proceeds from the gala benefit Childhelp’s programs and services in Arizona. The Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala will kick-off at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 14 at WestWorld in Scottsdale. Tickets are $1,000, with table sponsorships ranging from $10,000 to $50,000.
