The 12,000 square-foot Scottsdale retail boutique is geared towards little ones; dolls and their accessories are set up at the perfect height so young girls can shop on their own. American Girl Scottsdale features a doll hair salon and a “Creativi-Tees” area where girls can create T-shirts for themselves and their dolls. A photo op spot is also set up featuring Grace, the 2015 Girl of the Year. The location also boasts a bistro, ultra girly in bright pink, flowers and crystals, which serves lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

Shrieking in awe and giggling with delight, she ran around playing with dolls and accessories (everything was just her height.) I even made an unexpected purchase of a Bitty Baby for her. Although she can’t appreciate it now, I know my mom, sisters and I will share many memories with our next generation American Girl.
