If you missed the first couple performances of Boublil & Schönberg's legendary musical, Les Misérables this past week, don’t worry; showtimes extend into the weekend with evening shows every day. Les Misérables is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a tour that includes a revamped set and scenery with paintings by Victor Hugo. United Way Luncheon at the Arizona Biltmore

Kick off your weekend with some charitable fun by coming out to the We Are UNITED/Women United signature event featuring the keynote speaker and program activist, Vanessa Williams. This event benefits more than 75,000 children across the Valley by funding initiatives to end children’s hunger. Spring Arizona Restaurant Week

This Friday, May 18, kicks off the much-anticipated Spring Arizona Restaurant Week. If you are unfamiliar, this 10-day-long event is the perfect chance to get your taste buds out of their comfort zone and try delicious restaurants all over the Valley. The Diary of Anne Frank at Herberger Theater Center

This Friday marks the opening night of the play inspired by the ever-famous Diary of Anne Frank. The Diary of Anne Frank captures the realities, emotions and tragic journey of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic in war-torn Amsterdam. This is the first opportunity out of the three-weekend sequence to catch the play, so don’t miss your chance to watch one of the most powerful stories in history come to life on stage. Vintage and Vino at Queen Creek Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre

This Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., come out to enjoy a day of trinkets and tasting. Vintage and Vino combines a vintage-shopping experience and wine affair featuring 100 vendors, live music, make and take classes, a kid's crafts zone, and a wine lounge for the adults ages 21 and older. Royals Wedding Celebration at the English Rose Tea Room Celebration

Royal obsessed? So are we, and this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the English Rose Tea Room is hosting a wedding party for the marriage of Prince Harry and America’s sweetheart, Meghan Markle. In true British fashion, this soiree will include a lavish tea party, cake tastings and a goody bag, while also having the opportunity to take photos on the red carpet with life-size cutouts of royal family members and have a chance to win a replica of Markle’s ring. Women’s Health & Wellness Expo at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa

With Mother’s Day still on the brain, Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa is holding its fourth-annual Women’s Health & Wellness Expo on Saturday, May 19, from 8 a.m. to noon. This Expo includes a day of pampering, free health screenings and a little “me time” to treat the Valley’s everyday “Wonder Women” to some much-deserved moments of relaxation and reconnection opportunities with their bodies, minds and spirit. The women’s event will offer a true 360-degree view of women’s health, covering wellness topics that most impact females of all ages. During the expo, women will have the chance to undergo health screenings and learn easy-to-implement tips to improve their health and wellness; as well as listening to the keynote speaker Kristine Lilly, U.S. Women’s Soccer World Cup champion, Olympic gold medalist, and mom of two young daughters. Spring Fling “Farmraiser” at San Tan’s RhibaFarm

This Saturday, from 5 to 9 p.m., six local, award-winning chefs and a craft brewer are hosting a  fundraising dinner to support RhibaFarms. RhibaFarms will be providing the chefs and brewer with the majority of the ingredients needed for them to make their dishes and beer. Guests will have to opportunity to tour the farm for a first-hand look at just how much food a small urban farm can produce for the community, then sit at tables among the vegetable fields. Proceeds of the dinner will go toward additional infrastructure like greenhouses, aquaponics, mushroom boxes, worm and insect bins to grow RhibaFarms. In addition to the 60’s- and 70’s-themed, vegetarian-based, family-style dinner, there will also be a blind auction fundraiser where participants have a chance to win private dinners from the chefs and other goodies.
