Friday
Phoenix Suns v. Utah Jazz

Hamilton at ASU Gammage
Starting this weekend, the world-renown, award-winning, musical masterpiece, Hamilton, will be coming to the Valley. Hamilton is a musical which uses rap music to reenact the biography of the American founding father Alexander Hamilton. The Waste Management Phoenix Open
As golf lovers from around the globe start trickling into the Arizona desert and big white tents begin to pop up, you know the Phoenix Open is in town. So whether you are a golf fan or not, start planning your outfit for one of the most popular events to hit the Valley every year.
The tournament progresses by a round each day and so do the exciting events. Friday will kick off the weekend with the second round at 7:20 a.m. and open the Coors Light Birds Nest entertainment tent at 3:30 p.m. Entertainment for this day will include OneRepublic with Cash Cash featuring Natty Rico. The busiest day will be Saturday starting at 10 a.m. with the third round and proceed with the Coors Light Birds Nest entertainment tent opening at 3:30 p.m. with musical guests including Zedd and Nelly. And to conclude the event, Sunday will host the fourth and final round. So come enjoy the greatest show on the grass and purchase your tickets here.
Artlink First Fridays
Every First Friday of the month, from 6 to 10 p.m. Downtown Phoenix houses one of the nation’s largest art walks to express the culture and essence of the city. With over 70 galleries, venues and art-related areas to explore, come check out the variety of artwork exhibited by local and visiting artists. This art walk is free and provides a shuttle service for you and your fellow art lovers an easy way to get from one end of the walk to the other. Stops along the shuttle routes include the Phoenix Art Museum, CityScape, Oasis on Grand and The Unexpected Gallery.
Saturday
Rio Salado Trail Run
Enjoy the beautiful scenery, wildlife and mixed terrain of Rio Salado this Saturday while you run the 10k or 5k. So bring your furry friend(s) to this pet-friendly race and enjoy a Saturday out in the Wilderness.
Brewer’s Bowl
Calling all craft beer lovers! Come out and enjoy the Valley’s only local beer competition at Scottsdale Civic Center Mall from 5 to 9 p.m. The Two Brothers Artisan Brewing Company have gathered an extensive collection of craft beer and are having an event for you to sample them while having a blast with giant bar games and live, local entertainment. Additionally, there will be an assortment of yummy food from local food trucks and Two Brothers Scottsdale Brewery & Tap House available for purchase. General admission tickets are $35 a person which includes 20 four-ounce beer samples. VIP tickets are $55 a person which includes 25 four-ounce beer samples and early admittance. DesertFest at PebbleCreek
The third annual DesertFest at PebbleCreek is happening this Saturday. Guest should expect and get excited for a party with live music performances, food made to order and wine tasting. Performers for the day include December ’63, a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute concert, and Those British Girls who will perform top hits from female British pop stars. After the event, interested guests can stick around and enjoy an art show and business expo.

Skybox Sunday: Big Game Viewing Party
In the spirit of Sunday Funday, Old Town’s very own W Scottsdale is hosting a Skybox Sunday: Big Game Viewing Party. Enjoy the lavish views the W’s Shade Lounge pool deck provides while sipping and dining delicious foods off of their specially prepared “Super Bowl Menu.” The game will be aired on the big-screen video LED wall. VIP table and cabana reservations are available and most rentals will feature a personal 55-inch television.
Dinner on Us: Super Bowl Sunday
Celebrate Super Bowl 52 with two of the Valley’s most popular restaurants, Roaring Fork and Salty Sow! Both restaurants will be offering a, “Dinner On Us” special where you buy one, entree and get one free. The event begins at 4 p.m. and reservations are not mandatory.
Dine With Your Dog
If you are looking for a fun event for you and your furry friend(s), come enjoy the Dine With Your Dog event this Sunday at Heritage Square. Proceeds from the event will benefit the PetSmart charity Paws Can Heal Animal-Assisted Therapy Program at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. So grab your doggy and their favorite collar and get ready for some delicious food!
