 Independence Day Music Festival at Salt River Fields

This one starts a day early on July 3rd but that certainly doesn't mean it won't be a fantastic Independence celebration! Enjoy some great live country music from huge stars such as Brantley Gilbert, Tyler Farr and the LoCash Cowboys. Gates open at 5 p.m., music begins at 5:30 p.m. and the fireworks will be launched at 9:45 p.m. Tickets start at $20. Ahwatukee Red, White & Boom

Presented by Vision Community Management, produced by HDE Agency and hosted by the Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce, this party promises to be huge! Come celebrate at the Ahwatukke Country Club from 4- 10 p.m. on July 3, 2013 for great food and a whole evening filled with concerts, a bratwurst eating competition and a water slide for the kids, and an evening of spectacular fireworks starting at 9 p.m. Entry is free but those wanting to enter the tented Boom Room, which features private bathrooms and catered food, should expect to pay $25 in the VIP area. Wet ‘n’ Wild

Not only will there be water slides but also an Independence Day BBQ. The Red Rock Ravine picnic area in the park will be serving up delicious food and drinks from 6:30- 8 p.m. followed by the firework show at 9:30 p.m. Guests must pay park admission.  To eat BBQ, tickets are $9.99 plus tax for all Gold Season Pass and Season Pass holders; $9.99 plus tax for ages 3-11; and $11.99 ages 12+. Fourth of July Freedom Fest

Freedom Wireless Fabulous Phoenix Fourth/ Independence Day Celebrations

From 6- 10 p.m. at Steele Indian School Park in Central Phoenix, one of the largest free fireworks displays in the area will take place. The fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. but there will be plenty of local entertainment and games for guests while they wait. The sponsors promise a “Hurricane Mister” to help cool people off from the July heat, a classic car exhibit, and a Patriotic Program. This event offers fun for the whole family and will have many fun activities for the kids. Tempe Town Lake Festival

Gates will open at 5 p.m. but make sure you arrive early. This is one of the biggest fireworks displays offered in the Valley so traffic is guaranteed to be heavy. The park will offer entertainment with a variety of performers from the time the gate opens until closing at 11 p.m. The fireworks will be shot from Mill Avenue Bridge between 9:20- 9:55 p.m. Tickets bought ahead of time at Fry’s stores cost $6 for adults; free for children 12 and under. Fourth of July Fireworks Fest at Westgate Entertainment District

From 5- 9:30 p.m. the West Valley's largest fireworks display will be lighting up the sky over the Westgate Entertainment District's Fountain Park. The kids can enjoy a refreshing splash pad and face painting before the show while the adults listen to live American Rock & Roll. Some Westgate restaurants will be participating in providing picnic meals for those interested in enjoying dinner during the show. Afterwards, guests 21 years and older can take part in a pub crawl featuring incredible deals. All American Festival

Head on over to the Main Stadium and Mariner practice fields in Peoria for fireworks, fun, and food. The event will take place from 5- 10 p.m. with fireworks launching at 9:15 p.m. Admission is $5. Children can enjoy face painting and games in the Kids Zone with music from Radio Disney. Parking is free, as are children 12 and under. No alcohol is allowed at this event. Chandler’s Fireworks Celebration

Tumbleweed Park in Chandler will brighten the sky with a fireworks display starting at 9 p.m. for July 4. The show will last about 20-25 minutes. While food and drinks will be available for purchase, it should be noted that alcohol is strictly forbidden.You may park on the southwest corner of Germann and McQueen Roads - enter from McQueen Road (near the Tennis Center) or at the lot off of Hamilton Street - enter off of Hamilton Street and Germann Road (at the corner of the Park & Ride). Parking is $5. There will be no additional entertainment or games at this event, only the fireworks show.
