This Weekend: Tour for Life
Sometimes, it's not a matter of how much you do than it is what you do. This is the case for the luxury design firm, Wiseman & Gale Interiors. In order to raise money for the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS, the are the local firm is opening their doors to some of the most incredible homes in the Valley for "Tour for Life” this Saturday and Sunday."
"Tour for Life" has created a rare insight into some of the most distinguished homes through a self-guided home tour. Co-chair and Wiseman Gale partner, Scoot Burdick says, "Wiseman and Gale is proud to once again be able to showcase our work and have one of our homes on display. This is a cause I believe in and I know we are working towards the greater good." And since its first year in 2002 all proceeds have gone towards the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS.
During its tender, the "Tour of Life" event has sold nearly 2,000 tickers, shown more than 100 celebrated and highly esteemed homes, but most importantly raised more than $200,000 that have been responsible for several important programs and services offered at the Southwest Center.
The Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS was founded in 1990 and since then has done amazing work in terms of education and awareness. Representing the largest clinical trial, education, and behavioral health and nutrition support center committed to fighting HIV and AIDS in the Southwest.
The concept of such an event is extremely smart. Not only is Wiseman & Gale Interiors sticking to what they know, they continue to do so at such a high level that they've used their talents to be able to extended to others and form powerful relationships that impact the community.
While the event lasts two days, it includes a tour of a eight featured homes each day. First up is Paradise Valley on Saturday and Silverleaf North Scottsdale on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both residences, though private, are highlighted by elegant designs that fully represent the desert living as an experience with spas, clubhouses, and a golf course designed by Tom Weiskopf. Participants will visit extravagant custom homes by Calvis Wyant, Salcito Custom homes and feature the work of highly prestigious architects like Erik Peterson of PHX Architecture.
