Take part in a night of fantasy and originality at the design event of the year hosted by The International Furnishing and Design Association (IFDA).
On Saturday, October 13, 2012, The International Furnishing and Design Association (IFDA) will "Tableau Cinq" at The Phoenician luxury resort in Scottsdale. The design event of the year will feature more than 30 of the Valley's top designers, who will create intricate, imaginative tablescapes revolving around this year's theme, “An Evening at Moulin Rouge," and will be judged through several categories such as Most Sophisticated, Most Whimsical, Best Use of Color, and The People's Choice Award.
The night of whimsy will start with a cocktail-champagne, an hors d'oeuvres reception, and then transitions into the Grand Ballroom for the fantastic display of table arrangements and centerpieces, offering guests a French-inspired gourmet dinner, opulent raffle, live auction items, and entertainment featuring emcee Robin Sewell from Arizona Highways TV. Raffle and auction items will benefit the inspirational Ryan House charity—the first pediatric respite and palliative care home in the Southwest serving children who face life-threatening illnesses and their families.
Three celebrity judges are scheduled to appear and judge the collection of tablescapes throughout the night. Erika Monroe-Williams of the popular Website, “The Hopeless Housewife” and Fox 5 San Diego Morning Show as well as Sonoran Living and Good Morning Arizona will attend, along with fashion icon, Robert Black, of the famed Ford/Robert Black Modeling Agency. The final celebrity judge will be Windsor Smith of Windsor Smith Home who is brought to Arizona by the nationally renowned fabric manufacturer, Kravet Fabrics.
