Summertime means relaxing by the pool, basking in the sun and jamming out to one of your favorite bands. We’re listing off the top performers coming to the Valley this summer.

Rammstein
Friday, May 18
Jobing.com Arena, 8 p.m.
Following a sold-out arena tour in Europe, the German fan favorite band, Rammstein, will bring their one-of-a-kind sound to Phoenix with their “Made in Germany 1995-2011″ Tour, a best-of show with all of the band’s greatest hits.

Daughtry
Monday, May 21
Comerica Theatre, 7:30 p.m.
The former ”American Idol” contestant turned rock band front man Chris Daughtry is bringing his award-winning group to Phoenix for the band’s third album tour, “Break the Spell.”

Sugarland
Saturday, May 26
Ashley Furniture Home Store Pavillion, Time TBD
The platinum-selling band is bringing a little country to the Valley with their “In Your Hands” tour, a unique concert experience where fans can vote and determine the band’s set list for the show.

June:

One Direction
Sunday, June 10
Comerica Theatre, 7:30 p.m.
The British pop boy band that has been dominating the Billboard charts and radio stations all over the country with their debut single “What Makes You Beautiful” is kicking off their North American tour for their first studio album, Up All Night.

Van Halen
Saturday, June 16
US Airways Center, 7:30 p.m.
The long-running rock band has been topping Billboard charts since the late 1970’s and is touring after 14 years to promote their latest album, A Different Kind of Truth.

July:

Foster the People
Friday, July 6
Comerica Theatre, 7:30 p.m.
The indie pop band blew up radio waves all over the world with their chart-topping single “Pumped Up Kicks” and is bringing their signature sound to Phoenix with a tour for their debut album, Torches.

Big Time Rush
Tuesday, July 17
Ashley Furniture Home Store Pavillion, 7 p.m.
The Nickelodeon boy band famous for their teen TV show is bringing their kidfriendly sound to the Valley for their “Big Time Summer Tour.”

Barenaked Ladies
Wednesday, July 25
Comerica Theatre, 7 p.m.
The Canadian rock band will be joining forces with Blues Traveler, Cracker and Big Head Todd and the Monsters for their latest “Last Summer on Earth” tour.

The Fray and Kelly Clarkson
Wednesday, August 1
US Airways Center, 7 p.m.
The former “American Idol” winner and famed pop rock band will be co-headlining a tour to support  Clarkson’s latest album, “Stronger,” and the Fray’s “Scars & Stories.”

Kiss and Motley Crue
Friday, August 10
Ashley Furniture Homestore Pavillion, 7 p.m.
The iconic rock bands, who haven’t performed together since the 1980’s, will be combining their sounds as they co-headline the simply titled “The Tour,” a 40-city North American tour.
