Fashion and Fundraising Co-Mingle to Benefit Premature Pregnancy Research.
On Thursday, March 22, 2012, - 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Isaac Jewelers hosts a festive and philanthropic evening supporting VH1 “Baseball Wives” Maggie McCracken’s charity, Miracles Do Happen (benefiting the March of Dimes Arizona Chapter). A fusion of social nightlife and compassion invites guests to shop Isaac Jeweler’s collection of luxury jewelry, where a percentage of proceeds will benefit these efforts to spread awareness on premature pregnancies and improve the health of mothers and babies.
The evening will also serve as a spectacle and unveiling of Maggie’s recent photo shoot with Isaac Jewelers in a campaign featuring Maggie and pre-mature born son, Isaiah, and the newest of Isaac Jewelers products. This element of the evening truly defines the combination of fashion and fundraising surrounding the night’s event.
Additionally, Isaac Jeweler’s and Miracles Do Happen’s open-to-the-public event will further capitalize on a night of pure altruism encouraging all to come bearing donations of pre-mature clothing and other infant needs.
“Shopping for Isaiah after he was born was so difficult; I maybe found 3 things at Carter’s to fit him,” said McCracken. “So little things like providing hard-to-find clothing is all part of the overarching mission to give every baby a healthy start in life.”
Isaac Jeweler’s Kierland Commons boutique will fashion a relaxed setting in the company of local celebrities and has already attracted MLB Spring Training players and former players in strong support of Maggie and husband, former Arizona Diamondback Quinton McCracken’s charity.
The McCracken’s launched their Miracles Do Happen charity in honor of their son, Isaiah, who maintains the title of the youngest baby ever born to survive at Scottsdale North Hospital. Born at 23.6 weeks (viability being 24 weeks), and at just 1.7 lbs, Isaiah’s chance of survival teetered at 10%. Almost 3-year-olds now, Isaiah is testimony that ‘miracles do happen.’
Miracles Do Happen has raised over $10,000 benefiting the March of Dimes Arizona Chapter in previous years, and with the support of Isaac Jewelers, 2012 will be the year for bigger and better miracles.
