Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012: Family Value Day, Presented by Cox Media
Barrett-Jackson has something for the whole family and on Sunday, Jan. 15, you can experience it all at a reduced cost. Take pictures and get autographs from Arizona sports team mascots including “Big Red” from the Arizona Cardinals and Baxter from the Arizona Diamondbacks. Aspiring designers will enjoy the Kid’s Fashion Show and dancers can watch a performance form the Arizona School of Classical Ballet. The whole family can catch a few laughs watching the “AZ’s Got Talent” show while snacking on samples from the Thermador Kitchen. VIP guests have the opportunity to be pampered for free by the 20 Lounge Boutique Nail Bar and Massage Envy all day. The entire day benefits Cox Charities.
Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012: VIP Preview/Catwalk for a Cause 3D
Enjoy samples from the Thermador Kitchen while watching local designers create the latest fashions live on stage in a “Project Runway”-type event. VIP guests can experience “Palette to Palate” wine pairings by Denise Teichert from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and complimentary spa treatments from 20 Lounge Boutique Nail Bar and Massage Envy all day. The party starts at 7 p.m. with Catwalk-for-a-Cause, the first 3D fashion show on the West Coast, which features local “American Idol” alum, Jordin Sparks. The event benefits MAD (Making aDifference) Girls.
Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012: Celebrity Chef Throw Down
Local chefs Mel Mecinas, from the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, and James Fox, from Bonfire Bar & Grill’s, will face off at 11 a.m.
Battle of the Batter: Experience the first “Battle of the Batter” at 1 p.m. when confectionists from Cake Contessa and Kimmie’s Cakes battle it out for the best dessert in the Valley.
Celebrity Martini Mix-Off: Enjoy a live performance by Glen Templeton & The Full Throttle Band while sipping creative cocktails celebrities mixed just for you.
Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012: Dress for Success Style Show
The Dress for Success Style Show is a one-stop shop featuring make-up artists from Bobbi Brown, previews of the latest trends, CRAVE stylists and a fashion show. The event, which benefits Dress for Success Phoenix, will be in the Lifestyle Pavilion and lasts from 10 am - 3 pm.
The International: Fiesta of Four Flags: At 7 p.m. guests can experience the latest fashion and food from around the world with treats and trends from Italy, Germany, Russia and the United States. There will be a special performance from the US Color Guard, and the event will benefit the Veteran Tickets Foundation.
Friday, Jan. 20, 2012: Pet Pawshion Show
Viewers of the Pet Fashion Show & Expo in the Lifestyle Pavilion will experience a one-hour show where pets walk out of an oversize dog house and down a high-fashion runway with couture fashions from Barking Baby. The show will feature and benefit Gabriel’s Angels, which provides pet therapy for abused youths. Rock Me Arizona Events and Bella’s House & Pet Sitting is producing the event which will take place from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. If you’re a pet lover this is your event!
Fuel your Senses: Guests in the Lifestyle Pavilion will enjoy wines and flavors from some of Scottsdale’s premier culinary destinations from 7-10 p.m. The Phoenix Suns will be building a court in the pavilion for guests to shoot hoops during the event which benefits Suns Night Hoops.
Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012: Jazz, Jewelry & Bedazzled Brunch
From 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. the Lifestyle Pavilion will feature a high-fashion jewelry expo and Champagne tasting.
Icing: The Million Dollar Diamond and Dessert Show
From 7 - 10 p.m. Molina Fine Jewelers presents a VIP preview show featuring Beach Bunnies, a Million Dollar Diamond Fashion Show and a sampling of sweet confections all benefiting the American Cancer Society.
Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012: Sunday Funday—Casino Game Day and Celebrity Karaoke Contest
From 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. guests can pair up with celebrities and sing in front of a panel of judges to earn a chance to win prizes while benefiting Childhelp. The Lifestyle Pavilion event, presented by Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, will also include casino and card games by Vegas 2 U. Samples from Thermador Kitchen will be available all day.
