Heathcote is known for his use of classic automobiles, aircrafts and fashion within his art. The paintings depict the pre-war period of the last century. Heathcote is able to create such beauty and detail in each scene that he paints. He leaves his work for open interpretation among those that view his artwork. Each piece begins to tell a story and the audience has the ability to imagine their own story line. From modes of transportation, which are perfectly replicated from the respected era, to glamorous vintage fashions, Heathcote uses real subjects (dancers and actors) for his paintings. One can find an extensive amount of vintage wardrobes and props at Heathcote’s studio for each of his pieces. These aspects that go into Heathcote’s work really help to create life-like paintings for the audience to enjoy.

His work has become globally popular among galleries and art collectors. With requests from galleries in Boston, Greenwich CT., Nantucket, Scottsdale, San Francisco and Laguna Beach as well as Cape Town in South Africa. His artwork will be displayed from December 29th through January 18th at the Bonner David Galleries. Heathcote continues to sell timeless pieces of art that many will enjoy for years to come.
