It’s the happiest time of the year again! Everyone is merry, jolly and of course, frantically trying to prepare holidays gifts for loved ones, family and friends. It isn’t just about giving the gift that makes it sentimental but how nicely wrapped and presented it is can show how much you truly care as well.

Just in time for the holidays, Olescia Hanson, Public Relations Manager of The Container Store, offers tips on perfect gift-wrapping.

1. The right tools
It is always best to start off with the right tools needed for your gift-wrapping extravaganza. Keep the presents looking clean and neat by using double-sided tape and make gift wrapping easier and safer with rolling scissors. You wouldn’t want any visible tape sticking out or any rough and uneven edges.

2. Choosing a wrap
Add a little fun by choosing wraps with all sorts of designs. It’ll make the present pop and we always want the person receiving the gift to be excited and curious at the same time. Also, you could also choose a wrap that represents the recipients’ personality and taste.

3. Finishing touches
Add a nice finishing touch to your gifts with ribbons, bows and gifts tags. These little details will give the gift a completed presentation and will make it spontaneously exciting to unwrap even more.

4. Keeping it organized
It makes everything much easier and more accessible to keep your supplies and materials near. Whether you keep them in a box or drawer, it helps to be organized and lets you keep track of where the tools are placed.

5. Use your imagination
Overall, be creative and use your imagination. Create a gift that is unique, special and one that will shine their personality as well as yours. Show that you really are taking the time to perfect their gifts through not only clean and presentable wrappings, but in the end, also through a creative experience.
