After months of planning the most important night of their lives, this local couple treated their wedding crew and family to a luxurious but unconventional evening on Lake Pleasant.
Invitation
To show appreciation to their wedding party, the invitation was hand delivered to all guests. The beautiful box embellished with crystals and filled with navy crinkle held a miniature silver Champagne glass and card. To easily replicate this on your own, while keeping a budget in check, print an invite and embellish it with a ribbon or a small item (Christmas ornaments work well). Then place in a special box with coordinating crinkle, wrap beautifully and deliver. This tells your guest they are special and so is your celebration.
Food and Drink
The cuisine served by Creative Hands Cuisine was sensational, both in taste and presentation. An elegant wine-color flower was added to each plate to enhance the elegance and drama. The sweet treats by Tammie Coe Cakes were masterpieces themselves. There was an array of candy, cupcakes, cookies and a miniature wedding cake. Each sweet was elegantly painted to match the other. Champagne and wine flowed throughout the evening, as did the celebratory toasts.
Décor
The theme was Hollywood glam meets nautical and Encore Entertainment added bling and a wine accent color everywhere, including the gorgeous floral on the dinner table. The guests were asked to wear navy and white. This makes for beautiful photos, so don’t be afraid to direct your guests to wear a specific color or style. It’s a fun idea and is completely free. The guests themselves become part of the décor. It will also get your guests excited for the special night.
