In 1969, the Woodstock Music Festival changed the world with “3 days of peace & music.” Now 42 years later, Valley residents can enjoy the ultimate backstage pass for family fun as Goodyear hosts the inaugural Arizona Kidstock, billed as “1 day of family & music” that promises to enrich children’s imaginations, promote creativity, educate and entertain.
Arizona Kidstock is scheduled for Saturday, November 12 from 10 am to 6 pm at Goodyear Ballpark, located at 1933 S. Ballpark Way in Goodyear. Tickets go on sale today online at www.kidstockaz.com. Tickets for adults are $20, for children (12 and under) are $10, and children under 2 are free.
At Arizona Kidstock, children, teens and adults will enjoy high-quality educational and fun entertainment that is carefully aimed at specific age groups and interests … offering something for everyone.
The main stage, situated on the baseball diamond, will showcase a “Legendary Lineup” of entertainment including the popular Kratt Brothers, best known for the PBS TV show Zoboomafoo and Kratts Creatures, the papaGG Band, the Elektrolytes (from America’s Got Talent) and other local entertainers.
Appearances will also be made throughout the day by popular PBS Kids’ characters including Maya & Miguel, Super Why, and Sid the Science Kid. Free activities including face painting, crafts, bounce houses, obstacle courses, video games, hands-on demonstrations and much more.
Arizona KidStock will provide charitable donations to two local charities: Phoenix Children’s Hospital and the Homeless Youth Connection. For more information, visit www.kidstockaz.com or call (800) 315-9630.
