Dining at the Phoenix Zoo may seem like an unusual place for a cocktail affair to some.
The Phoenix Zoo transforms into a stunning scene underneath the stars and Arizona sunset. In its efforts to educate the community on the importance of conservation, the Phoenix Zoo is thrilled to welcome its 2nd annual Rendez-Zoo, happening Saturday, October 15th from 6 to 11pm.
The evening will take attendees on a unique adventure featuring drinks, dinner, and amazing experiences. Enjoy delicious eats and cocktails from renowned chefs around the valley. Experience behind-the-scenes as the Phoenix Zoo allows its guests to see first-hand and learn more about the zoo’s achievements with its conservation goals. Take part in a fabulous silent auction that will be held at the Rendez-Zoo event as well as online. Auction items range anywhere from fabulous vacation packages, official sports jerseys, and personal training packages. Enjoy dancing to live music throughout the evening. Cannot make this year’s event, the Phoenix Zoo welcomes donations in order to support its conservation efforts.
Last year, the Phoenix Zoo debut the event, Rendez-Zoo and gained a vast amount of support. In its first year the zoo raised $400,000 which allowed their efforts to thrive forward in inspiring and motivating people to care for our natural world. The Phoenix Zoo is proud to have had conservation programs continue to succeed. The animals featured in successful programs are the Arabian Oryx, Black-Footed Ferret, Grevy’s Zebra, Chiricahua Leopard Frog, and Rhinoceros Hornbill. During the 2011 Rendez-Zoo event, you too can have the chance to support the Phoenix Zoo efforts and its 200 endangered or threatened animals.
