Buy yourself some peanuts and crackerjack because the MLB All-Star Game is right around the corner. While the game itself may very well be the event of the MLB year, don’t strike out by missing all of the events surrounding it! From July 8 to July 12, Phoenix will be the host of it all, so get ready to be immersed in all things baseball.

July 8 – 12: MLB All-Star FanFest

Esteemed the “largest baseball fan event in the world,” this five-day spectacle will kick off the fun at the Phoenix Convention Center. With many exhibits and attractions, the FanFest is nothing short of the perfect experience for any baseball aficionado. Learn from some of the MLB’s greatest during clinics and seminars; get your glove signed by D-back legends and MLB Hall of Famers; get to know more about America’s favorite pastime in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. If all of that sounds like a baseball blast, there’s a lot more!

July 10: Taco Bell All-Star Sunday at Chase Field featuring: XM All-Star Futures Game & Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game

Check out the top Minor League prospects as they take to Chase Field for the XM All-Star Futures Game. Then, watch some of your favorite celebrities team up with former Major League and D-backs players for the Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. This year’s players include baseball greats, such as Luis Gonzalez and Andre Dawson, as well as American Idol winner Jordin Sparks and pop sensation Nick Jonas, and more.

July 11: Gatorade All-Star Workout Day at Chase Field featuring: State Farm Home Run Derby

Watch your favorite players warm up for the big game during the Gatorade All-Star Workout Day. Later, MLB’s top home run hitters will battle it out in a challenge to see who can hit the most home runs during the State Farm Home Run Derby. Last year, Boston Red Sox hitter David Ortiz took the title with 11 home runs. Who will it be this year?

July 12: 82nd MLB All-Star Game

Before the big game, witness the first-ever winners of the All-Star FanFest Wedding Joe Curiale and Dolly West tie the knot during their baseball-themed ceremony. Then, it’s the main event, the 82nd MLB All-Star Game on July 12 at Chase Field. The players for the big game are still being chosen by you, the public, so you “batter” be ready for this star-studded baseball occasion.
