Phoenix Symphony’s Salute to America

 

May 27 & 28, 8 p.m.
The Phoenix Symphony and conductor, Loras John Schissel, are putting on an old fashioned concert based off the 1940’s USO tours with music from Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, and many more. Tickets start at just $18 for this fun-filled concert in honor of America’s troops.

Surprise Memorial Day Parade

 

May 28, 8:30 a.m.
The City of Surprise is hosting its Fifth Annual Memorial Day Parade at the Surprise Recreation Campus on Bullard Avenue. The parade honors active and retired military personnel by presenting floats and marching units put on by city members. A featured wreath ceremony also takes place after the parade. Whether participating in the parade, or observing the fun, this is an entertaining way for the whole family to celebrate Memorial Day.
