As part of the 2011 Major League Baseball All-Star Week in Phoenix, the MLB will be hosting a contest for couples to win an All-Star FanFest wedding.
Couples are invited to submit their stories on the All-Star game Website in hopes of winning the ultimate wedding package. The winning couple will be married on the Diamond at All-Star FanFest in July, will win a catered reception for 50 guests by Aventura Catering and will receive a $15,000 wedding ring package from Molina Jewelers, a wedding dress by Uptown Bridal and roundtrip airfare and tickets to the 2011 MLB All-Star Game.
The couple will also receive gifts from MLB partners such as beverages for the reception provided by Anheuser-Busch, hotel stay from InterContinental Hotels Group, a $500 MasterCard gift card, and an exclusive $500 Newlywed Lawn and Garden Kit from Scotts. Local Phoenix businesses such as Eyes 2 See Photography and Men’s Warehouse have donated their services for the wedding as well.
The wedding will take place on Tuesday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the Phoenix Convention Center, the site of the MLB All-Star FanFest.
Couples can enter to win on www.allstargame.com/fanfestwedding by submitting a short video explaining why they should be crowned the lucky couple. Celebrity wedding planner, David Tutera, MLB All-Star Ambassador, Luis Gonzalez, and Jenni Croft Badolato of ABC’s “The Bachelor” will assist the MLB in selecting the winning couple. Couples will be judged based on criteria such as the couple’s connection with the MLB and the originality and quality of their online entry. Photo courtesy of Nicole King with Eyes 2 See Photography.
