Friday
Goldrush Music Festival
Rawhide Western Town is hosting one of the largest musical events in the Valley this weekend. Dance and sing along to all of your favorite songs all night long from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Ages 18-plus can enjoy Goldrush Music Festival and all of its eccentric offerings on Friday, Sept. 27.
National Arabian Breeder Finals
Giddy up and prance on over to WestWorld on Friday, Sept. 27, for the National Arabian Horse Breeder Finals. Here you will be able to witness some of the finest Arabian horses in the world, as well as indulge in tasty food and drinks. Admission is free, and the event begins at 1 p.m.
2019 Great American Seed Up
This Friday evening, the Uptown Farmers Market/ North Phoenix Baptist Church presents the 2019 Great American Seed Up. Learn how to buy and plant seeds, promote well-being, and the importance of healthy foods. Plus, you won’t want to miss a talk hosted by Kimber Lanning. Doors open at 5 p.m., and admission is $7.50. 2019 Downtown Phoenix Oktoberfest
It’s just that time of year again, come on down to the 2019 Downtown Phoenix Oktoberfest. Enjoy German fare like bratwurst, Bavarian pretzels and, of course, beer. From 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, you can join in on the fun starting at $10 for admission. Attendees must be 21-plus to take part in the festivities of Oktoberfest.
SanTan Brewing Oktoberfest
Local legends the Gin Blossoms will headline the 12th-annual SanTan Brewing Oktoberfest presented by Bashas’ on Sept. 28 (VIP packages are available). Guests can even take their concert experience to a new level by viewing the show from the ride-filled carnival presented by Chapman Automotive as the ferris wheel will be positioned directly in front of the stage. (Ride tickets will be available for purchase onsite at the festival.) The two-day festival, which starts Friday night and is located in downtown Chandler, offers a family-friendly experience with classic German-inspired food and activities, live music, a carnival midway and beer and spirits provided by SanTan Brewing Company. Guests can expect the return of crowd favorites like polka music, Von Hanson’s brat-eating contests, stein-holding competitions, keg-stacking matchups and bring-your-own wiener dog races. General admission tickets start at $10. Food and beverages are sold separately.
Goodyear Roundup Food Truck & Music Festival
The Goodyear Ballpark presents an incredible lineup of food trucks from all over Arizona this Saturday, 4 to 10 p.m. Delicious choices fill the field along with music, drinks and activities. Admission is free but each food truck has individual pricing. Learn more here.
Sixth Annual Garlic Festival at Queen Creek Olive Mill
Queen Creek Olive Mill has all of your favorite garlic goodies in celebration of the Sixth Annual Garlic Festival. Sample flavorful treats like garlic olive oils, or dare to try the garlic gelato instead. Music and cooking classes will also take place at the event. Autumn means cooler temperatures, shorter days and fresh-picked green chiles. Bite into the delicious southwestern flavor of the hatch green chile and all of its glory for free this weekend. The Blue Clover Distillery is hosting this delicious event starting at 3 p.m.
11th Annual Sedona WineFest 2019
Escape into the scenic red rocks this weekend for the 11th Annual Sedona WineFest. Adventure out to Posse Grounds Park and enjoy world class wine, food, and music from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come out and sip; tickets start at $40.
2019 Embracing Your Journey Expo
Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak will hold this year's Embracing Your Journey Expo. The exposition will explore inner spirituality, wellness opportunities and overall goodness. You’ll love meeting the trained well-being professionals and lecturers that will guide you through your journey. The event costs $8 per person and runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29.
