Arizona is bringing locals a diverse range of events to celebrate the first weekend of October. Spend Oct. 4 to Oct. 6 welcoming back Arizona’s autumn with everything from Phoenix Fashion week to Schnepf Farm’s Pumpkin and Chili Party.
Friday
Chingona Soles at Luna Culture Lab
Friday night and stilettos; the terms are essentially synonymous. Join the Luna Culture Lab in celebrating Latino culture with a Stiletto Art and Fashion show. The event will include a runway where models showcase locally designed fashion. Additionally, 50 artists will transform a black stiletto into artwork meant to represent the “Chingona Soul.” The stilettos will be auctioned, and proceeds donated to ASU’s Los Diablos Scholarship. Scarizona Scaregrounds
Welcome October with Arizona’s largest, award-winning haunted house. Scarizona consists of five frightening attractions including a brand new virtual haunted house. After a night of terror, take the edge off at the Beer and Wine Cemetery. Tickets range from $10 to $36.95 and can be purchased online.
Wine & Design: Fall Wreath Class at Arizona Flower Market
Nothing says fall like a warm-colored wreath. For $45, Debbe Villaman of the Arizona Flower Market will walk you through the creation of a fall wreath. All necessary crafts will be supplied, except for wine. However, the market invites attendees to bring their own. The event will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Reserve your spot now!

Scottstober Fest at Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall
Beginning at 12 p.m., German food, beer, music and more will be taking over Scottsdale Fashion Square. Tickets are $5 and can be bought upon arrival. Monster Jam at State Farm Stadium

Phoenix Fashion Week at Talking Stick Resort
