Sun Devil fans, this Friday, head to Tempe’s 6th Street Park to rally before the Arizona State vs. Sacramento State football game. From 4 to 6:45 p.m., students and community members of all ages are invited to gather in preparation to cheer on the Sun Devils. You do not want to miss this free-to-attend event filled with food, music, carnival rides, games and more.

First Friday at Roosevelt Row

Calling all Arizonians! The Friday behind our bragging to out-of-state friends is finally here. Roosevelt Row, worthy without, but so much better with, will be covered in art exhibits as it is every first Friday of the month. Two new exhibits will be making their debut. Pick and Play, accompanied by rock and roll music, will start at 6 p.m. at the FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel. POP!, an examination of our current culture, will start at 7 p.m. at the New City Studio.

Beats and Brunch Fest at Onyx Art Gallery

Interactive art, music, brunch and drinks? These are a few of our favorite things! To enjoy all four, grab your tickets and head to the Onyx Art Gallery this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Even better? Beats and Brunch Fest will be giving back to the Pearce Family Foundation. Not only will your Saturday be fun-filled, but meaningful.

Scottsdale Quarter’s Fall Concert Series: Shallow Water

The Scottsdale Quarter gets better in September. This Saturday marks the beginning of the Quarter’s Fall Concert Series. Help one of Arizona’s favorite cover bands, Shallow Water, kick off the event by joining them in The Quad at 5 p.m.

Cycle Class at The Madison for JDRF Arizona

This Saturday, Tempe’s The Madison will host a cycle class benefiting the Arizona chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) at 10 a.m. At $50 per person, all proceeds will be donated to JDRF. To reserve a spot, call 480.967.0835.

El Zaribah 2019 Shrine Circus 

It doesn’t matter how old you are, circuses are difficult to deny. This Sunday, the Shrine Circus will take over Westworld of Scottsdale with aerial and animal performances. Grab your tickets on sight after choosing from an 11 a.m., 3 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. showtime.

Starry Night Paint Class at Wasted Grain

Spend your Sunday van Gogh’ing at Scottsdale’s Wasted Grain. From 1 to 4 p.m., artist Ed Pollick will walk attendees through painting van Gogh’s famous Starry Night on a wine glass. While doing so, you can enjoy brunch and sip on bottomless mimosas. Be sure to purchase tickets from the Cocktail and Canvas website before they run out!
