First Friday at The Nash
Jazz aficionados will enjoy this concert led by local jazz saxophonist and vocalist Julianne Colwell. Hear some of Colwell’s favorite jazz standards, original pieces and favorites from genres spanning Neo-soul and R&B performed by some of the Valley’s best musicians. Admission is free, and the concert will last from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
The Whole Story: Part X at the Phoenix Art Museum
Since 2017, the Phoenix Art Museum has played host to The Whole Story, a live story-telling event that celebrates the human experience through the black perspective. Featured storytellers begin at 7:30 p.m., and advance purchase is recommended at a cost of $12.
Happy Hour at Lucky Strike

Murder Mystery Dinner Show
Add an element of mystery to your weekend line-up at Orange Tree Golf Club. For $89, the club’s dinner show includes a three-course meal and the chance to uncover the identity of the murderer. The show begins at 7 p.m. and tickets can be purchased online.
Instructor, Student and Staff Exhibition at Shemer Art Center
Support local artists at the Shemer Art Center’s annual instructor, student and staff exhibition. The Shemer Art Center sits on a property with a rich, 100-year history in the neighborhood and has been a jewel of Arcadia since 1984. You can visit from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a suggested donation of $7 per person or $10 per couple.
