Beer ‘n Bingo at SMoCA
Join local comedian Anwar Newton for a game night SMoCA style with craft beer and Boochcraft Hard Kombucha samples. Tickets cost $15 and competition kicks off at 7 p.m. Bring your game face and get ready to laugh—SMoCA warns this is not your grandmother’s bingo night.
The Lavatory Museum
Experiential exhibits are the latest craze in contemporary art, and Phoenix has no shortage of opportunities to see what all the fuss is about. The Lavatory Museum is comprised of six immersive exhibits and the Pit, the cleanest ball pit on the planet. Visit the Pit at 7 p.m. to experience more than 100,000 balls falling from overhead in the Mega Drop. Pricing varies depending on experience.
Night Lights Tour at Taliesin West
Experience the magic of Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home under the stars—and out of the scorching summer sun. This special evening tour makes the perfect date night activity, and the property’s fire-breathing dragon even makes a guest appearance. General admission costs $45 and reservations are required.

Dog Days of Summer Casting Call
Everyone thinks they have the cutest pooch on the block, but this weekend you have the chance to prove it at a casting call for the AZ Foothills Dog Days of Summer Cutest Dog Contest. Bring your pups of all colors, sizes and breeds to iPic Scottsdale Quarter from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the first round of casting. If your dog has what it takes, he or she will be crowned “Top Dog,” earn a feature in Arizona Foothills Magazine and $500 cash.

“The Dixie Swim Club” at Desert Stages Theatre
