7th Annual Flagstaff Blues and Brews

The 7th Annual Flagstaff Blues and Brews fest grows to two days this year, June 7 and June 8, in the cool air of Northern Arizona. This year’s festival includes performances by The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, Larkin Joe, Samantha Fish and Tab Benoit. There will be a total of 10 bands as well as beer, wine, arts and craft vendors, a variety of food vendors and a kid’s area. Tickets start at $30; kids 12 and under are free.

“Legally Blonde the Musical” at Desert Stages Theatre

Desert Stages Theatre welcomes “Legally Blonde the Musical," a musical adaptation of the novel “Legally Blonde” by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture under the same name. There will be performances all weekend long—Friday, Saturday and Sunday—with an ending date of Sunday, June 16. Ticket prices vary.

Discovery Day at Taliesin West

In celebration of Frank Lloyd Wright's 152nd birthday on Saturday, June 8, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation is inviting the community to the first-ever Discovery Day where guests are invited to a day of exploring Taliesin West and enjoying live entertainment, film showings and pop-up shops from local makers. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required.

Cool Dining in LON’S Underground Wine Cellar

The return of summer also means the return of the one-of-a-kind culinary experience in the underground wine cellar at LON’s at the Hermosa. Now through Sept. 15, the hotel's signature restaurant will open its private subterranean wine cellar to offer guests a special five-course tasting menu ($69 plus tax and tip per person) along with a wine pairing option (additional $35 per person). The cellar – kept at 57 degrees – is normally available exclusively for private events, but will now be open for parties of two or more, Thursday through Sunday nights. Gerry Cullity’s “Alice In Wonderland” graces Desert Stages Theatre this weekend for the last time of the season. The family-friendly show captures the adventures of young Alice adapted from Lewis Carroll’s children classic. “Alice In Wonderland” will play at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday each weekend through June 9.

“Will James: Cowboy Artist and Author” at Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West
