The dynamic duo from the 2008 presidential elections, Palin and McCain have teamed up again and will make their way to Arizona for a Republican campaign from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Pima County Fairgrounds, Thurber Hall.

Sen. John McCain is currently competing against JD Hayworth, a former U.S. Congressman and right-wing talk show host, in a tough primary battle for his current senate position. Palin has come to McCain’s aid for the fight against Hayworth, who recently stated that "same-sex marriage laws lead straight to man-horse matrimony.”

Doors will open to the public at 11 a.m. A delicious lunch will be available on a first-come first-serve basis for McCain and Palin supporters. Guests can also enter-to-win a signed copy of Sarah Palin’s best-selling book, “Going Rogue.”

The powerful pair will then head to Phoenix the next day, Saturday, March 27, to rally at Dobson High School in Mesa. Campaign starts at 9 a.m.

The Issues

Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin will speak on the much debated U.S. health care issue. McCain agrees that our health care system is in need of change, but still wants to uphold the system that keeps “our American freedoms rather than creating new government controls and harness the market forces that are the hallmark of our economy: competition and choice.”

He believes you will know these reforms have succeeded when Americans can access affordable, quality health care coverage that meets their needs, not controlled by the federal government or only available if their employer happens to be able to provide it.
