Angel Charity for Children's Bags, Baubles and Ballgowns Event proves fashion can be good for both your heart and your wallet!

 

Angel Charity for Children, Inc.'s annual Bags, Baubles and Ball gowns event combines fashion and fundraising with their upcoming April 26th shopping extravaganza. In its fourth year, "BBB" has grown to feature vintage couture, after-five, prom and formal wear, all gently worn. New this year is the "Gold Room," sponsored by local jeweler Thigpens, which encourages attendees to bring in their old gold jewelry for cash. A percentage of each sale will be donated back to Angel Charity.  This year's super sale, held at La Encantada in the former Blue Point restaurant space, will be from 5pm-8pm Thursday. So grab a girlfriend and come out to La Encantada! Somewhere amongst the racks is your next perfect find. Can't make Thursday? No problem! In response to the event's growing popularity, a second day has been added. The "last chance" sale runs Saturday from 10am-3pm.
