As the mercury rises this summer, Tucson restaurants are stepping up the season savings. Here, we reveal the second course of our selection of Tucson must eats.
Elle Restaurant will be featuring their sixth annual summer wine tour. Beginning on June 1st, Elle will offer a two course meal paired with two wines from a specific region for only $22 a person (not including tax and gratuity). The wine regions will change every three weeks. This special will be available nightly. Hours: Monday-Saturday 11:30am - 9:00pm and Sunday, 4pm - 9pm.
Jax Kitchen will be offering half off of all bottles of wine every Sunday evening. Also, beginning in July, Jax will feature a chef's "garden special" from the newly planted Jax garden! Hours: Tuesday-Thursday, 5-9pm; Friday-Sunday 5-10pm.
Jonathan's will be offering a Sea Bass special with the choice of house salad or soup as well as a Teriyaki Sirloin special with choice of house salad or soup for only $20.10 (not including tax or gratuity). Both entrees come with house vegetables and your choice of starch. Also, the return of Patio Pig parties will take place every Thursday in June, and this year they have a Caribbean theme! Price is $25 per person and includes a complimentary beverage with giveaways and raffles. Hours: Open daily from 5pm-close, Bar Hours: Monday - Saturday 3pm, Sunday 5pm. "Late night hours" Wednesday - Saturday 10pm-12am.
The Lodge is featuring their "Neighborhood Nosh", a prix fixed menu for only $18.95 per person (not including tax or gratuity). This menu includes: the daily soup or salad selection, the entrée of the day and house made chocolate truffles. Entrée selections are new every day. The menu is offered Monday-Thursday from 5pm-9pm. Hours: Breakfast is served everyday from 7 - 11 AM; Lunch is served everyday from 11 AM - 2 PM, and dinner is served from 5 - 9 PM Sunday - Thursday and 5 - 10 PM Friday and Saturday.
Maynards Market & Kitchen (pictured above) will be offering a delicious fish taco plate for only $10.99 plus a refreshing $4 house margarita with the purchase of taco plate (not including tax and gratuity). The special is served from 3pm - 6pm at the bar. Hours: Sunday -Wednesday 5pm - 10pm; Thursday - Saturday 5pm - 12am. Open for lunch 7 days a week, check website for hours, offer only valid during dinner.
